Well my phone went for a swim yesterday - in the loo! I think the worst part was having to fish it out. I don't normally take it in there - I mean to say who needs to?!!! I was getting ready for bed so had it in my pocket, but unfortunately not far enough in! I pulled it apart straight away and mopped up all visible signs of water with tissues. I left it in the lounge room all night near the heater. Then today, after trying to dry it out for about four hours in front of an electric fan heater, I gave up and went and bought another one. It's pretty nice (and has a call duration display which might help stop me going over the 10 min limit!! Yay!!) but I've lost most of my phone numbers. I managed to start the old phone up long enough to read one number before the screen froze. I salvaged some by restarting it a few times but I should have written numbers elsewhere - just in case!
Who talks for 10 mins on the mobile?? Btw you aren't the only one to do such a thing. It has happened to people where I work with the cordless phones that we have to carrry - same result too. Phones don't like water. LOL!
ReplyDeleteI talk 9.99 mins frequently. If I go over I'm charged at the next rate.
