No, Compassion assisted children have not resorted to advertising for a sponsor, but they are praying for one.

“My friends at the project write letters to their sponsors regularly; I want to do it too. They show me the reply of their sponsors and also their photos. Their sponsors love them so much. Compassion Australia currently has 8000 children like Elbina waiting to be sponsored. Unfortunately, many have been waiting up to 12 months for a sponsor and are now each a 'Priority Child'.
